We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrator / Receptionist for our client who is a prestigious client and a hard-working but fun team based in Twickenham, someone who is good with people, confident, well-groomed, and professional. a person who can adapt, work independently, and is driven by a desire to perform a good job – as you will be in charge of all receptionist and administrative duties, making sure that guests are greeted and assisted as needed.

This role is Twickenham based  – Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

A snapshot of the responsibilities include:

  • Open and close reception

  • You will provide administrative support to the business teams and some light IT administrative duties for new starters. 

  • Welcome visitors to the premises

  • Update system data /records as required.

  • Maintain security through managing the Sign In App and process for visitors, employees and contractors

  • Helping arrange employee events, such as lunches  dinners and parties

  • Organise Health and Safety Induction

  • Notify the appropriate people that a visitor has arrived

  • Respond promptly to telephone calls and redirect to the relevant person via switchboard.

  • Maintain a clean and safe Reception at all times

  • Manage bookings for meeting rooms and arrange refreshments when required.

  • Take inventory of stationary and restock as required

Person requirements 

  • 2+ years experience working as a receptionist or in an administrative capacity
  • knowledge of switchboard technology at a basic level
  • excellent listening abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attendance and time management
  • High degree of accuracy, keen attention to detail, and previous data entry expertise
  • IT aptitude and expert-level understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
  • the capacity to organise, prioritise, and multitask
  • Self-motivated, competent working independently and utilising personal initiative
